"We loved our stay at Casa Tota! The staff are so nice and friendly. They are ready to make sure you're taken care of. This place is walking distance to a lot of great places in town. And the hotel is very well maintained. Pros: - excellent staff - excellent location - beautiful common areas (pool and corner patio) - very very clean Cons: - bed is pretty firm. It didn't bother us much until about day 3. - the AC in our room was very noisy and squeaky - the wifi is terrible, don't come here if you're planning to work remotely or need access to streaming, etc. We were having a relaxing escape so it wasn't too much of a bother for us."
"It's a nice place to stay. It's just outside of downtown. The rooms are comfortable and clean. It has a bar and a restaurant that are reasonably priced. The only bad thing is, I am not a heavy sleeper, I slept at first with my window opened and lots of dogs barking at night. If you sleep well, then this should not affect you. The rooms do have air conditioners, at the moment it was a cool evening."
"Good: nice room, comfortable bed, good shower, good number of outlets, nice small pool (not heated). Fair location. Not so good; expensive, very slow internet, no dressers nor closets, no safe, breakfast not included and it is expensive in the attached restaurant, toilet paper cannot be flushed, noisy street and noisy bar next to the hotel blasting music, location very far from the beach and even if you make it there the ocean is very rough- did not see even one swimmer there. No TV - some guests would miss it, we did not. If you like Mexican art galleries and Gringo bars this town is for you. Not much else to do."
