"This place was super busy, which gave us (false) hope that it was good. The waitress warned us that the kitchen was busy, but two hours later we finally asked for our food to go as our son really needed to get home and lay down. The fried pickles (not pictured) were cold and the fryer oil tasted terrible. After our five minute drive back to our house, we opened the to go boxes to find the most mediocre, pedestrian food- simultaneously burned/overcooked and also somehow cold and soggy. 10/10 would recommend this place to someone I really dislike. Short of that, probably will never think of this place again. The place was cute though, and the location was excellent. So much potential."

"Great "American type" food! The owner has done a splendid job of decorating and providing the best food experience at Shaka's! We are here twice on our recent vacation. The atmosphere is fun, relaxing, and makes you feel at home. There is even a dish on the menu for dogs! Kid friendly, family friendly, and pup friendly! The food is excellent! We enjoyed both visits and will return when we return to Baja!"

"If you like chili get a bowl of their Texas Red chili. Some of the best I've eaten. A 10! The smash burger was excellent as well."
