"We chose Mas Olas based on a trusted recommendation describing it as peaceful and restorative. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. The hotel is currently under significant construction, including constant jackhammering from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. This was not disclosed prior to arrival. When we were first shown our $900/night room, the noise was overwhelming. After waiting four hours, we were moved to a quieter area, which we appreciated — but the impact of construction extends well beyond the guest rooms. The only breakfast restaurant is directly adjacent to the construction zone, making it extremely loud. Two of the pools and the bar were effectively unusable due to the noise (and visibly empty). Additionally, the farm-to-table restaurant was unavailable during our stay. At this price point, transparency matters. If a hotel is operating with reduced amenities and active construction, guests should be informed in advance and given the option to reschedule or cancel. I’ve previously received proactive alerts from other luxury properties about similar situations — that is the level of communication one expects. Mas Olas may eventually return to the serene property it’s known for, but until construction is complete, I would recommend staying elsewhere."

"We toured Kimpton Mas Olas as a potential wedding venue and were absolutely blown away. The location is stunning, the atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed, and the entire property is immaculate. The rooms are beautiful, the amenities are top-tier, and the food was truly incredible. What really stood out was the exceptional staff—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. The resort feels peaceful, luxurious, and thoughtfully designed in every detail. An unforgettable experience and a truly special place. Highly recommend!"

"We just got back from Kimpton Mas Olas and this place is truly special. The staff, the grounds, and the spa are all next-level. Everyone is incredibly kind and attentive, the service is seamless, and the whole experience feels luxurious yet relaxed. The food deserves its own paragraph — everything is so fresh and flavorful, and I loved that they grow ingredients right on site at their farm. The margaritas were the best I’ve ever had. I also really appreciate how committed the resort is to sustainability — even the water is desalinized from the ocean and purified using reverse osmosis, so you can brush your teeth and enjoy drinks worry-free. The spa is incredible. I had a deep tissue massage that was probably one of the best of my life, followed by the Himalayan salt sauna and steam room. Total bliss. I also loved the thoughtful 5-star touches — like waking up to a healthy breakfast bag hanging on your door, on-demand golf cart rides around the property, and the front desk team who always follow up to make sure you have everything you need. Kimpton Mas Olas is gorgeous, intentional, and full of heart — a perfect balance of luxury, wellness, and sustainability. Can’t wait to come back!"
